Shocker!

Sixers pull off shocking comeback victory over Pistons in game one

The Sixers have done the unthinkable and that's pull off a 90-86 win over the Pistons at the palace. For a half it appeared their playoff nemesis would beat the living daylights out of them tonight as they stormed to a 13-point lead at halftime.

This marks the third straight time the Sixers will face the Pistons in the playoffs and of course the Pistons have knocked them out of the playoffs the past two times.

The 76ers played a gritty game and did it on defense. Despite shooting 43% from the field, they held the Pistons to under 40% shooting.

Defense is what wins in the playoffs folks and you got a lesson in it tonight. Reggie Evans (14 rebounds) and Sammy D (10 rebounds) led the front court attack and held off Rasheed Wallace's monster effort.

Even though Andre Miller started off slow, he ended the night with 20 points on 9 of 18 shooting.

For the Sixers to steal a game on the road like this is huge. They'll go at it again Tuesday night as the Pistons will try to even the series.
