He'd Rather Be Doc

Barack Obama calls into WIP once again

While this time he certainly won't rile up people like Howard Eskin, when he made the "typical white person" comment, Barack Obama certainly will make Dr. J fans happy.

He called into The Morning Show once again and when asked whether he'd like to be a professional athlete or president, he stated that Dr. J was his idol growing up and he'd rather be him than president.

You gotta love the honesty. A "typical" politician would dance around the question or joke and play both sides of the fence, but he had fun with it and was honest.

The Obama haters out there will probably take this to mean he'd rather be an athlete so how can we take him serious as a candidate. I beg to differ. I look at it as a testament to how honest he is in an era when politicians are anything but.

Does this mean he's 100% honest? Absolutely not. No politician is. Hell, I doubt any human being is honest all of the time. It's just not in our nature as human beings.

Take Two
Phillies go for their first win tonight with Hamels on the hill

I can guarantee one thing and that's the Nationals will not score 11 runs again tonight. The reason being is that King Cole is on the hill.

I wouldn't be shocked if he went the distance tonight. For those of you degenerates out there who bet on baseball see if you can find a prop bet on Cole Hamels to go more than 7 innings. If you see that bet. Take it.

My prediction is the Phillies will win a low-scoring affair tonight. The weather will be chilly and Hamels will go 8 innings and pitch a gem.
