Looking Good

Flyers have 2-1 lead towards end of 2nd period

The Flyers were heavy underdog heading into their second round matchup against the Canadiens and the hockey Gods smiled upon them in the first period.

The Flyers had everything go their way in the first period as Montreal knocked shots against the post and the Flyers saw two of their shots go in.

Added to that, the NHL's #1 powerplay team didn't have one powerplay as neither team had a penalty in the first period.

Montreal came back in the 2nd with a goal though. The Flyers brought their A-game tonight and look like a serious team led by Martin Biron who is looking every bit like a franchise goalie tonight.
