Sixers and Boston set to square off tonight

Boston comes into Philly tonight with the best record in the NBA and the best D. They are on an 8-game winning streak and are sitting pretty with a 49-12 record.

The Sixers are arguably the second hottest team in the East over the past month, having gone 12-3 since February 5th.

We will get to see what this young group of stalwarts are truly made of. The Celtics are led by a first-ballot Hall of Famer in Kevin Garnett and play suffocating defense. While, the Sixers are led by a veteran point guard in Andre Miller, who is certainly a top 5 point guard in the game. And, the Sixers' bread and butter if the fast break.

Can the youngsters step up against this Goliath? We shall see. I'm putting my money on the Sixers tonight and look for Thaddeus Young to make his name. Mark my words, he will be a superstar within a few years.

The Sixers are set to go on a torrid 5-game stretch starting tonight. They'll then head to Detroit, then Chicago, and they will face the Spurs on Sunday and host A.I. and the Nuggets next Wednesday.

If they win tonight it will do wonders for this team's confidence and a young team like this needs a win like this to build on for the future.

He wants to leave or not?

The Larry Fitzgerald soap opera is starting to look like a game of "she loves me or she loves me not" by pulling the leaves off a dandelion.

Just which direction will he go? The Cards are said to be adamantly trying to keep him, but at the same time the negotiations are dragging on.

They say they'll pay him the $14 million this season now because the cap room doesn't matter at this point (and that's true because there's not much left on the open market).

So, will the Eagles go after Roy Williams who is reportedly less available than the Yankees' franchise?

Or, will they go after the coach beater, Chad Johnson?

Decisions. Decisions. But, it seems that teams are holding onto their playmakers like gold bullion. They say cover corners are a premium lot. I say playmaking wide receivers are. There just aren't many in that elite class.

Otherwise, they wouldn't be elite.
