Well, well, well looks like we didn't hit the century mark just yet. And, when you think about it, it's true.
Let's do some simple math.
1984-2008 = 25 seasons. And, that can be said for both the Sixers and Flyers. And, 1984-2007 for the Phillies and Eagles = 24 seasons a piece. Therefore, you have 50 + 48 and that gives you 98 seasons without a title. We can't count the Phillies or Eagles just yet!

Barkley to give up gambling?
I know, I did a double take when I heard this one too. Charles Barkley who recently was outed by a Vegas casino for owing them $400,000 has paid back his debt and said he'll give up gambling "for right now."
That would be like Jeffrey Dahmer giving up cannabilism or Suge Knight giving up the thug life!
But, that's what Sir Charles said in response to the casino outing him.
He also said he has lost 10 million bucks on gambling, but is nowhere close to financial trouble.
Let's see how long Charles can stay away from his biggest vice. I'm a huge Sir Charles fan and all kidding aside, but I am putting the over/under at his moratorium on gambling at 6 months. And, I'm betting the under!
