Coming To Philly?

Phillies reportedly are interested in Manny and have inside track on getting him

The latest rumor mill gossip has Manny Ramirez going to either the Phillies or Mets.

The Phillies are said to be the lead dog in this race because of Manny Ramirez's relationship with Charlie Manuel while he managed the Indians.

According to Ken Rosenthal, the Phillies would have more to offer since they could include Pat Burrell in the mix.

As far as the Mets, they don't have much to offer because they can't trade any more top prospects and are unlikely to mess with the chemistry created by new skipper Jerry Manuel.

It's very likely that Ramirez will get moved after his incident with a traveling secretary and stating that he is tired of being in Boston.
